VCL charges no attorney's fees for work performed through VA's initial decision on your claim.
For work after that decision, such as an appeal, you will owe
no attorney's fee unless we recover benefits for you, though you may still be responsible for
case expenses for that work (such as medical records or expert medical opinions) regardless of
the outcome. Your fee agreement will spell this out before we begin.
